Somali Community development of Utah Computer Literacy
dsc_022.jpg

Many disadvantaged adults, especially immigrants and refugees, have never had the opportunity to learn how to use a computer.  The task of learning to use a computer is compounded by financial constraints; fear of the unknown; and the student’s mentality that they are too old to learn.   More and more jobs from mechanical to clerical require basic computer knowledge

Somali Community Development of Utah now has an excellent program in Computer Assisted English Language Learning for Refugees multicultural populations who are in need of acquiring English language skills. As well as those interested in learning a Computer Assisted Foreign Language, such as Somali, Farsi, Arabic, Swahili, Afrikaans, French, ETC.  We provide Computer Assisted Literacy and Math skill training to those in need of increasing their literacy skills.
