Somali community development of Utah
somalicenter3.jpg

As we stated above most African refugees are coming to Somali Community development of Utah seeking help because of Culture and Language avialabilities for each community

Photo galleries: Refugees reborn They are displaced by dictators and civil war; chased from their homelands and persecuted for their politics, religious beliefs or ethnicity. Between 30,000 and 50,000 now call Utah home. They are not immigrants. They are not illegal aliens. They are refugees

We serve all refugees,Asylees and Other low-income populations in Salt Lake Utah!

The refugees now we serve from Sierra Leone, Rwanda,Sudan,Liberian,Somalis, Afghans, Iraq's. All have fled their countries wars, and many cases suffered atrocities based on their ethinic, political,or religious affiliation.each community number more than hundreds, some of them are thousend's. It is expected that these Communities will increase in the number given the area's highly favorable employment market and low-cost living, and as relatives join those already settled here. Like other refugees, these groups tend to live and associate with others who share their culture and languages. Some of them or majority doesn't speak English and require attending English as Second language (ESL).
